It's Bye Time!

This year, WW will be having a Bye run points season!

What’s a Bye run points season?

Currently we have 20 sanctioned pulls this upcoming season.  We know running points with that many pulls may be a little difficult so….each member truck/tractor will have 3 Bye runs.  That means, EACH MEMBER WILL ONLY HAVE POINTS FOR  17 of our 20 pulls.  If a pass doesn’t quite work the way you want or the vehicle has mechanical issues at the pull, the member has the option to cancel the points for that night’s pull.  Or if you can’t make a particular pull, that pull will be one of your Bye runs.  Bye runs will be noted on the Points tally sheet.

⚠️Things to remember:

👉If you don’t show for a points pull, that will automatically be one of your Bye runs.

👉If you pull in all 20 pulls, you will have the option to choose your 3 Bye runs, but choices must be communicated to us no later than the end of the night of the final sanctioned pull of the season.

👉If we have pulls added or cancelled, you will still only have 3 Bye runs.  (Example, if a town rains out, we will only have 24 points pulls for the season but you will still have 3 Bye runs, so only 21 will count toward your points tally if it isn’t rescheduled.)  Note:  If you become a member AFTER the season starts, your Bye runs will be used for the pulls that you missed prior to becoming a member.

👉If someone requests a Bye run on a night where we are not able to complete the pull (rain outs, etc), the Bye will still count only if the entire class has run.  If the cancellation happens in the middle of a class or before a class has started, Bye run requests will be ignored.

In the event of a tie, the tie breaker will be based on the total distance pulled for the year.
